Frequently Asked Questions

No. It isn't a legal requirement, however, it makes your task easier and, more importantly, safer to have scaffolding erected even for the smallest of jobs.
Scaffolding is inspected before it is used for the first time and then at regular intervals throughout the time it is being used and also during or after adverse weather conditions.
As a guide only: Approximately 4 feet above a lower level and for construction 6 feet above the lower level. Please call us for further information regarding heights.
There is no need if the scaffolding is to be erected within the boundary of your property, however, if it reaches out further onto pavements, roads or where the general public will be walking, then we have to apply for a licence from the local council.
